    TMNETWORK weekly radio program

    #03, 4.15.2026 Hosted by Utsu-san
For this episode, Utsu-san took the lead and introduced his favorite song.

    • Artist: Fairground Attraction
    • Album: The First of a Million Kisses
    • Released: 1988

    Title:

    1. Perfect
    2. A Smile in a Whisper
    3. Find My Love

The radio broadcast shared a memory regarding Utsu-san’s collection. He purchased this record in London during his stay there for the recording of TM NETWORK’s album, CAROL. Utsu-san also touched on the live music broadcast from Covent Garden, wondering what the passersby made of the whole production. It’s an interesting glimpse into a time when TM NETWORK could experience a sense of anonymity abroad that was impossible for them in Japan.

  • Get Wild | TM NETWORK

The Iconic Ending Theme Song for City Hunter

    • Artist: TM NETWORK
    • Title: “Get Wild”
    • Lyrics: Mitsuko Komuro
    • Music: Tetsuya Komuro
    • Released: 4.8.1987

It is the ending theme song for the anime “City Hunter”. The song famously overlaps with the final scene of the anime. The way the intro fades in during the climax was a fresh and innovative concept at the time.

    The Get Wild Exit:
In Japan, there’s a viral trend called “Get Wild Taikin” (Leaving the office with Get Wild). People play this song the moment they leave the office to feel like they’ve just completed a mission, just like the ending of the anime “City Hunter.”

Check out the official music video:
The music video for “Get Wild” was filmed on location in Hong Kong in the late 1980s. According to some interviews with the members, the schedule was incredibly tight—TM NETWORK flew there immediately after an event and returned to Japan within a single day. It was such a short trip that they barely had time for anything else. In fact, all three members wear sunglasses throughout the video; this was not just a fashion choice, but a way to hide their tired eyes due to a total lack of sleep.

    Listen to “Get Wild”:

As there are numerous versions of “Get Wild,” we will introduce them in a separate post.

According to the stage footage, the scene was filmed in Wanaka, New Zealand.

They took the stage in brilliant all-white outfits, looking absolutely sharp. While the tour visuals shots were all-black, the shift to all-white on stage was unexpected.

“We can’t stop that way” stood out for its use of venue-specific maps and landmarks, adding a heartfelt, personal touch to the performance.

Even though we assumed some new material, according to the tour brochure, the setlist actually featured several new songs. Among them, “Rise Together” seems the symbol of the tour, provided lyrics via QR-code located throughout each hall.

TK solo song evolved through a process of live multi-tracking, starting with a single loop and gradually expanding into a rich sound including his own chorus. As the tour progressed, the song even evolved deeply with sometimes words.

    Quantum:
Quantum entanglements, Quantum interference, Quantum measurements, and Quantum computing were shown on the screen. It is still hard to digest the “Quantum” visuals below on the screen, I look forward to hearing a deep dive into the hidden meanings behind them later.
Date and location shown on the screen:
    Komuro-san “2025.12.11, Wanaka New Zealand”
Kine-san “2025.12.11, Kanagawa” at Sagamihara City Museum
Utsu-san “20xx.12.11, Tokyo”, featuring similar setting from the stage visuals on the screen at TM NETWORK tour Devotion.

At the end of the concert, the reason why the final song had to be “CUBE” was revealed. It’s because a cube symbolizes a die and represents the randomness of the results.
